Qatar Charity completes the construction of a Complimentary Hospital for the Dhuafa in Bogor Indonesia


Jakarta, – Health is classified as a luxury item for most Indonesians. Medicines, doctors and hospitals such as gripping octopus the lives of poor people. Departing from the difficult problems and the high cost of access to health for the community, encouraging the concern of Qatar Charity to provide complimentary health services for the poor, by establishing a number of health clinics in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is Dompet Dhuafa-Qatar Charity Hospital in Parung Bogor. The construction of the Dompet Dhuafa Hospital has also been finished and is ready to serve the people of Bogor and surrounding areas.

“All the Hospital construction processes have been completed and is ready to serve the people of Bogor and surrounding areas.” Said Dr. Zakaria, Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Hospital.

Zakaria explained that the Hospital, which was established in 2012, is a hospital with a holistic concept or integrated healthy house. In addition to a green hospital environment, this hospital is also equipped with several facilities such as outbound, archery and lodging.

Zakaria added that this Hospital which has 60 beds is free for dhuafa, including the clerics.

“All are free for the dhuafa, including the clerics who are included in the asnaf fi sabilillah, the total patient beds available at this hospital are 60. It is estimated that every month, this hospital serves 1100 inpatients.” Zakaria said

Meanwhile, according to Hendra Hadi, Head of Construction of Qatar Charity Indonesia, the Integrated Healthy House is a form of Qatar Charity’s contribution and attention to dhuafa in Indonesia, which is still difficult to get access and health services.

“The construction of the Dhuafa Integrated Healthy House is from Qatar Charity’s concern about the high cost of access and health services, especially for poor people who cannot afford to pay expensive health costs,” said Hendra Hadi.

Hendra continued, therefore, this idea was continued by choosing the right and competent partners to provide complimentary health services for dhuafa.

“The selection of local NGO partners for the construction of this Dhuafa Hospital was through the selection of several local hospitals that were already operating, and in the end the choice fell to Dompet Dhuafa as a partner for the construction of this hospital for the dhaufa”.

Assistance to Integrated Healthy House of Qatar Charity – Dompet Dhuafa is in the form of a 3-storey building, with an area of ​​600 square meters each with a total of 1,200 square meters. This hospital will be a place for examination of external diseases with all specializations, which are also equipped with operating rooms, emergency room, ICU, Polyclinic, inpatient room and Nutrition Kitchen. The total funds disbursed by Qatar Charity to build this Integrated Healthy House is RQ 4,000,000 or around 15 billion Rupiah.
