Israel Escalates Violations Against Palestinian Prisoners
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) reported on Wednesday that the Israeli military has escalated its abuses against Palestinian prisoners at Gilboa prison, adding that a prisoner retaliated by splashing a soldier with hot water.
The prosecution said the detainee, Malek Hamed, from the town of Silwad east of the central city of Ramallah in the West Bank, splashed an Israeli soldier with boiled water in retaliation for the escalation against the detainees.
The prosecution added that the soldiers attacked Hamed before forcing him into solitary confinement.
Father of escaped prisoner among six army abductees near Jenin
Several Israeli military vehicles raided the town of Ya’bad, southwest of the city of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, on Wednesday morning, kidnapping six Palestinians, including the father of a political prisoner who recently managed to escape from an Israeli prison. along with five other detainees.
