Palestinian woman shot and detained by Israeli soldiers near Jerusalem

Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian woman near the village of Beit Surik, northwest of Jerusalem, on Monday, then detained her, according to local sources.
They said the woman, identified as 37 years old from Beit Surik, was not hit.

Israeli occupation destroys paved road east of Tubas

Israeli occupation forces razed a paved road east of the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, on Monday.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation bulldozers began destroying parts of the Temple Road, northeast of Tayseer, which stretches 1,600 meters.

ICRC: 9,000 olive trees destroyed by Israel in one year

More than 9,000 olive trees have been destroyed in the West Bank since August 2020, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said in a recently released statement.
With the olive harvest season underway, the aid agency has called on Israel to ensure safe, timely and adequate access for Palestinians to their olive groves in the occupied West Bank.
The ICRC has reported that Israel destroyed more than 9,300 trees in the West Bank between August 2020 and August 2021.

WAFA: “Israeli settlers cut down olive trees and steal harvest equipment in Nablus”

Israeli settlers cut down dozens of olive trees and stole harvesting equipment in the Nablus district on Monday morning, according to local sources.
Ghassan Daghlas, who oversees colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said Palestinian farmers in the city of Salem, east of the city in the north of the West Bank, were shocked in the morning to discover that dozens of of their olive trees, east of the city, were cut down by settlers from nearby colonial settlements.
Meanwhile, Nasser Snubar, a farmer from Yatma village, south of the city, said a group of settlers broke his way to his olive grove, south of the village, and stole his harvesting equipment.
While the olive harvest season is meant to be a festive time in Palestine, the joyous time has been overshadowed by Israeli land restrictions and brutal settler attacks.

Israel conducts limited incursion into Gaza Strip

The Israeli occupation force conducted a limited incursion into the Gaza Strip from the area’s eastern border Monday morning amid mounting tensions in the region.
Eyewitnesses said the force — accompanied by ten bulldozers — had penetrated near the Energy Gate east of Gaza City amid sporadic shooting and bulldozing of Palestinian lands in the area.

Hamas: Soon Prisoner Exchange Deal with Israel

Hamas said today, Monday, that the issue of the prisoners is on the resistance’s list of priorities. We will soon have a date with a new prisoner exchange agreement and the Israeli occupation will be forced to submit to the demands of the Palestinian resistance.
In a statement marking the tenth anniversary of the “Wafa al-Ahrar Barter Agreement,” Hamas confirmed that freeing the detainees and working for them “is a strategic path for Hamas that it has worked for.

Israeli Reports: Settlers Committed 416 Crimes Against Indigenous Palestinians in 2021

Israeli authorities said settler violence against indigenous Palestinians in the West Bank has increased sharply in recent months.
According to Ynet, 416 crimes were committed by settler militias against Palestinians, a new record compared to previous years.
According to the same source, settlers committed 363 crimes in 2019 and 507 in 2020. Ynet quoted an Israeli security source as saying that settlers commit dozens of attacks monthly in a rising curve.
Most of the attacks took place in occupied Hebron with 200 attacks, 141 were perpetrated by settlers.

Israeli troops demolish under construction Palestinian house in Hebron

Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian house under construction in the village of Sikka, southwest of the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, earlier on Monday.
Local sources said occupation forces invaded the village of Sikka earlier today and demolished a house under construction owned by Palestinian Ahmad Jawaeda.
The troops also attacked the villagers, firing tear gas and sound grenades at them.

Soldiers demolish a Palestinian house in Hebron

Israeli soldiers on Monday demolished an under-construction Palestinian house in the village of Sikka, southwest of the city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank.
The Alliance For Human Rights, a nonviolent activist group that documents Israeli violations, has reported that soldiers and staff of the so-called “Civil Administration Office” invaded the village and demolished Ahmad Jawaeda’s under-construction house.

Prominent Writer Among Ten Palestinians Arrested by Israel in West Bank Raids

Israeli occupation forces arrested ten Palestinians in raids on the occupied West Bank on Sunday night, including prominent Palestinian writer, academic and activist, Ahmad Qatamesh, Wafa news agency reported.
Qatamesh, 70, was arrested at his home in the city of Al-Bireh. The reason for his arrest remained unclear.
Qatamesh is no stranger to Israeli detention. He was first arrested in the 1970s and sentenced to four years in prison.
In 1992, he was arrested again and spent six years in administrative detention – the longest period a Palestinian prisoner has been in detention without trial or charge.
The rights group, Amnesty International, called Qatamesh a “prisoner of conscience” after he was re-arrested in 2017 and held without trial for three months.
