Israeli settlers burn parts of Mosque near Nablus, puncture tires in Jerusalem
Illegal Israeli settlers earlier Thursday burned several parts of a Mosque in the village of Jama’in, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, in addition to puncturing tires on many cars near Jerusalem.
Zeid Ramadan, the head of the Jama’in village council, said the settlers infiltrated the village and went to the local Mosque before using flammable materials to set fire to the main gate.
Ramadan added that settlers also burned carpets in the Mosque before the Palestinians managed to put out the fire.
Israel demolishes village in Negev for the 199th time
Israeli forces on Tuesday destroyed the Palestinian Bedouin village of al-Araqib for the 199th time. The villagers have been forced to rebuild their lives from the rubble of their destroyed homes, but they say they are steadfast and determined to remain on their ancestral lands — despite Israel’s continued efforts to relocate them.
The Bedouin village is a makeshift community of houses made primarily of waste materials and tin. The extremely impoverished residents of al-Araqib have had to make their living and have faced 199 demolitions of their homes by Israeli authorities who claim they are “unrecognized”.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces invaded Al-Araqib, removing all tents and destroying the tin shelters. This is the second time the village has been destroyed in 2022 – and the 199th since 2010.
In 2021, the Bedouin village was destroyed 14 times by Israeli forces.
Soldiers demolish two residential barns near Jericho
Israeli soldiers have demolished two residential barns belonging to Palestinian brothers near the village of Al-Auja, north of the northeastern West Bank city of Jericho, Palestinian TV has reported.
Hasan Mleihat, the head of the al-Baidar Organization for Defending Bedouin Rights, said the soldiers invaded the community before demolishing two barns housing 12 Palestinians, allegedly because they were built without a permit.
He added that Mohammad and his brother Atallah Yousef Mohammad Ka’abna own the two barns built on their land.
Israeli army opens fire on farmers in Khan Younis
On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition at Palestinian farmers east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Media sources said the soldiers stationed on military towers across the fence, east of Khan Younis, fired many bullets into Palestinian farmland east of the city of Khuza’a and the Sanati area, east of the city of Abasan. al-Kabira.
The sources said the attack did not result in any casualties, but forced the farmers to leave, fearing further violations.
Israeli navy attacks fishing boats in northern Gaza
On Wednesday evening, Israeli naval vessels fired live ammunition, grenades and flares at Palestinian fishing boats near the coast of Gaza City, forcing them to leave.
Media sources said the navy fired a barrage of live fire at the boats and many flares while the Palestinians were fishing in Palestinian waters not far from the coast, northwest of the city of Gaza.
They added that the navy also fired concussion grenades and ordered the fishermen to leave, in addition to threatening to kidnap them and confiscate their boats.
Army kidnaps 13 Palestinians, shoots three in West Bank
At dawn on Thursday, Israeli soldiers raided many communities in the occupied West Bank, ransacked many homes, kidnapped 13 Palestinians and fired upon three others.
In Tubas, in the northeast of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded the Wadi al-Far’a area before storming and ransacking homes and kidnapping two brothers, Baslan Mustafa Sawada, 55, and his brother Baslan Arfan, 20.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers kidnapped a former political prisoner, Abdullah Fahmi Sha’ban, alongside Waqqas Saba’na and Haitham Fuqaha’, from their homes in the city.
Soldiers kidnap four Palestinians in Jerusalem and Jenin
Israeli soldiers abducted four Palestinians, including a teenager, and seized a bulldozer on Wednesday evening in Jerusalem and Jenin, in the occupied West Bank.
The army kidnapped a teenager, Omar Hazina, from the old city after many soldiers invaded the area and launched searches, especially in At-Tour and Sultan Suleiman Street.
The soldiers stopped and searched many Palestinians during the invasion and interrogated them while examining their ID cards.
Israeli soldiers shoot three Palestinians, kidnap three in Bethlehem
At dawn Thursday, Israeli soldiers raided the Deheishe refugee camp south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, shooting three young Palestinian men and kidnapping three others.
Eyewitnesses said dozens of soldiers invaded the refugee camp before storming and violently searching many homes.
They added that the soldiers kidnapped Mohammad Ramadan, 33, Yazan Mousa Manna, 24, and Omar Yousef Manna, 23, from their homes.
Israeli army shoots three Palestinians, including a child, kidnaps one in Ramallah
On Wednesday afternoon, several Israeli army jeeps raided the village of Beit Liqya, west of the central city of Ramallah in the West Bank, sparking protests before the soldiers shot three Palestinians, including a child, and kidnapped a young man.
The soldiers invaded the village before storming and looting an auto parts store and kidnapping its owner Ayed Anwar Mafarja.
The soldiers fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians and surrounding properties. They added that the soldiers fired on three Palestinians with the rubber-coated steel bullets, including a child who was shot in the eye.
