Israeli officer detain Palestinian young woman in Al-Aqsa

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, PALESTINOW.COM — The Israeli police arrested on Monday a Palestinian young woman in al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, Awqaf official confirmed.

Spokesman of the Islamic Endowment Department (Awqaf), Firas al-Dibs, said that Israeli police forces rounded up Muntaha Amara, Sheikh Raed Salah’s niece, after chase in al-Aqsa Mosque.

Amara was immediately taken to Al-Qashla police station, west of the occupied city, for unrevealed sources.

Earlier Monday, dozens of Israeli settlers, led by the extremist MK Yehuda Glick, stormed al-Aqsa under police guard.
