GAZA, PALESTINOW.COM — Death toll in the Gaza Strip since March 30 has grown up to 142, Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The health ministry statement said that since the outbreak of the events, more than 16,400 Palestinians were injured; more than half of them were shot by live gunfire, adding that 68 of the wounded had their limps amputated.
18 children and two girls were among the victims, while 3126 children and 1362 women were among the injured persons.
The ministry pointed out that two medics were killed during the protests while 325 others were injured.
Since March 30, the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been organizing peaceful rallies and protests along Gaza borders as part of The Great March of Return. (PIC)
