IOF kidnaps Palestinians in dawn raids on West Bank homes


WEST BANK, PALESTINOW.COM – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday carried widespread raids on Palestinian homes in the West Bank and kidnaped a number of citizens.

Local sources said that the IOF stormed different neighborhoods in Ramallah, especially in the areas of a-Tira, the Industrial Zone, Ain Manjad, and Batten al-Hawa and ransacked several homes.

Clashes reportedly took place between local youths and Israeli soldiers during the IOF campaign in Ramallah.

The IOF also stormed al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah and kidnaped a Birzeit University student called Hamza Zalloum from his home.

In Jenin, two young men identified as Hafed Ibrahim and Amer Abdul-Rahman were kidnaped from their homes during an IOF campaign in Ya’bad town.

Another citizen called Hamza Khairi, a resident of Jenin city, was taken prisoner at the military checkpoint of Annab, east of Tulkarem.

In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped two citizens after searching their homes in the main city and Yatta town.

Four others were also kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in Beit Ummar town in al-Khalil and taken to the military base of Etzion for interrogation.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem and raided homes, with no reported arrests.
