WEST BANK, PALESTINOW.COM — The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday kidnaped at least 12 Palestinian citizens, including a senior Hamas official and several ex-detainees, during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped Hamas official Sheikh Fazee Sawafta, and Obadah al-Kharraz from their homes in Tubas city.
A young man identified as Hasan Amer was also kidnaped from his home in Tayasir village, northeast of Tubas.
In Jenin, the IOF stormed al-Yamun town, searched homes of ex-detainees, interrogated some residents and clashed with local youths.
Local sources said the IOF kidnaped three ex-detainees during its campaign in Yamun town.
In al-Khalil, the IOF raided several homes in Beit Ummar town and kidnaped a 17-year-old teenager called Abi Yousef Abu Maria.
In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped an ex-detainee called Muaad Suman from the city and two young men from the family of Atallah in Harmala village.
Two Jerusalemite young men were also taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Hizma town and Shu’afat refugee camp.
