Indonesians held mass demonstrations across the countries to support Al-Quds


INDONESIA, PALESTINOW.COM — Mass demonstrations were held Friday, 08.12.2017 in several cities in Indonesia against US President, Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as capital of illegal state Israel. In Jakarta, the demonstration held outside American embassy. Another demonstrations held in several big cities in Indonesia among them are Aceh, Surabaya, Solo, Semarang and Jogjakarta.

Although far away , Palestine is always in the hearts of the people of Indonesia. Therefore, every time Israel hurts the Palestinians, the people of Indonesia are wounded and hurt as well.

Arabs and Muslims from across the the world have reacted with fury after Donald Trump declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel despite an international outcry.

The US president’s announcement – which includes moving the embassy to the Holy City – was condemned as an incendiary move in a volatile region, with leaders from the region saying it would derail peace efforts.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was among the leaders to immediately denounce the decision as he accused the US of ‘withdrawing’ from the peace process.

Furious protests have raged in Turkey and Gaza as US allies including French President Emmanuel Macron also slammed Trump following his historic intervention.
