Ghazi Shaqoura, Mohammed Shaqoura’s brother, told the PIC, “Mohammed is the second man after me in the house. My father is dead. I have four brothers and two sisters, one of whom is disabled. Mohammed was a simple man. All he dreamt of was to have a peaceful life.”
Mohammed Shaqoura’s aunt said that although the Great March of Return is completely peaceful, Israeli soldiers directly shoot at Palestinian youths near the border fence to kill them or cause them disabilities.
“Mohammed was shot right in the heart and died a few minutes later,” she added.
Dozens of Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured by Israeli gunfire since the start of the Great March of Return along Gaza’s border with the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories on 30th March. (PIC)
