GAZA, PALESTINOW.COM — Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Friday from the Al-Aqsa Mosque “a red line that the occupation can divide.”
This came in a statement coincided with protests in Jerusalem on the closure of the Israeli police, “Bab al-Rahma”, inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The movement said in a statement: “Our people today is a great example of his insistence on the march to Jerusalem to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite all the obstacles posed by the occupation of threats and arrests.”
Hamas called on the Arab Islamic nation to stand up to normalization with “the occupation that is attacking its sanctities” and to support Jerusalem in the face of “its Israeli enemy.”
Israeli police arrested dozens of Palestinians in East Jerusalem on Friday, ahead of expected protests at the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the continued closure of the mosque.
