RAMALLAH, PALESTINOW.COM — Palestinian national and Islamic factions in Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate called for a large-scale participation in the coming return marches slated to be held to commemorate the Land Day next Friday.
The marches of return along with other events are staged in defense of the Palestinian land against Israeli occupation policies of confiscation, settlement expansion as well as construction and imposing a de facto policy.
In a statement on Tuesday, the factions also called for considering March 30 a day for field escalation against the occupation in all areas of Palestine.
A central march of return will be heading to Beit El barrier on the Land Day following Friday prayer.
The factions encouraged more events to be continuously held and particularly escalated on May 14-15 which mark the 70th Nakba anniversary and the day of moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Occupied Jerusalem. (PIC)
