UN: More than 70 children among 568 Palestinians injured by Israeli forces in two weeks

According to the biweekly Protection of Civilians report published by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Israeli occupation forces wounded 568 Palestinians, including 73 children, in the West Bank between September 7 and 20.
Of those, 320 were injured during ongoing protests against settlement activities in Nablus Governorate, including 290 injured near the villages of Beita and 30 in Beit Dajan.

Israeli troops detain eight Palestinians in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians from various parts in the West Bank on Friday night, according to local and security sources.
They said Israeli forces had re-arrested a former prisoner after stopping him at the entrance to the city of Yatta, south of the city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank.
The detainee was identified as a resident of the town of Bani Na’im, east of the city.In the Ramallah district, sources confirmed a raid on the town of Beit Liqya, west of the city, resulting in the detention of a woman.

Israeli troops kill Palestinian young man in Beita

According to medical sources, a Palestinian young man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation soldiers on Friday in the village of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The health ministry said 28-year-old Mohammad Ali Khabisa suffered a critical gunshot wound to the head after being shot by Israeli occupation soldiers during the weekly anti-colonization march in the village.

The Hamas movement has confirmed that the renewed US funding for the anti-missile defense system of the Israeli occupation state reflects a continuing bias towards the Palestinian people and complicity with Israeli war criminals.
In press remarks, Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanu said the US’s continued support for the occupation state and its military arsenal would not provide him with security on Palestinian land or bolster it against the resistance strikes.

Israeli army arrests young man whose entire family has been murdered or detained

The Israeli army re-arrested Muhammad Barghouti (20 years old), the son of the murdered Omar Barghouti, on Saturday. Mohammed’s brother Saleh was killed by the Israeli army, while his brother Assem has been incarcerated since 2020 and has been sentenced to four life terms.
Mohammed’s mother said a large number of Israeli soldiers broke into the family’s home and arrested her son and took him to an unknown place.

Abbas gives ‘Israel’ one year to withdraw from 1967 occupied territories

Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas gave the occupying state a year to end the occupation of the territories occupied in 1967, otherwise the PA will consider withdrawing recognition of “Israel.”
“We are giving Israel a year to end the occupation. During this time we are ready to mark the border. If Israel does not agree, we will consider withdrawing our recognition of Israel on the 1967 lines and go to the ICC,” Abbas said in his UN speech.
Addressing the UN General Assembly via video link from the West Bank, Abbas called on the international community to act to save the two-state solution.

38 injured in Israeli repression of Beita protest

Israeli forces suppressed a peaceful protest in the village of Beita in occupied Nablus that left 38 people injured, including one serious head injury.
The Red Crescent stated that its crews treated 38 injuries in Beita, eight of them from rubber-coated metal bullets, including one serious injury to the head. It added that 18 injuries from tear gas bombs and three others from falling burns have been reported.
Local sources said hundreds of local residents took part in a peaceful protest in Beita’s Sabih Mountain against the construction of an Israeli settlement in their village.
The protest was suppressed by Israeli forces once it reached the mountain, according to sources.
After the Israeli repression, clashes broke out in the area.

Soldiers kidnap many members of the Zahran family near Jerusalem

At dawn on Friday and in recent days, Israeli soldiers have kidnapped many Palestinians, including women, from the Zahran family in the town of Biddu, northeast of occupied East Jerusalem.
At dawn on Friday, soldiers raided and looted many homes in Biddu, mainly those belonging to members of the Zahran family, and kidnapped Toqa-Eddin Zahran and her husband Ibrahim Zahran after storming and looting their home.
The soldiers fired several bullets at the house before invading it and causing damage.Their kidnapping took place just days after the soldiers kidnapped six other Palestinians of the same family.

Soldiers injure many Palestinians in Kufur Qaddoum

Israeli soldiers wounded four Palestinians Friday with rubber-coated steel bullets and caused dozens of victims of tear gas inhalation during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya, in the north of the West Bank.
Morad Eshteiwi, the media spokesman for Popular Committee against the Annexation Wall and Colonies in Qalqilya, said Palestinians marched from the center of the village as they chanted against the ongoing Israeli violation of them and their land.
He added that the soldiers immediately attacked the procession with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades.
