Israeli troops harass and intimidate Palestinian schoolchildren in Nablus
Israeli occupation forces harassed, intimidated and hindered Palestinian schoolchildren at the entrance to their school in Nablus in the occupied West Bank earlier on Sunday.
In the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya in Nablus, Palestinian students were harassed and intimidated by the occupation forces as they made their way to their school in the early morning hours.
The troops also blocked Palestinian students’ access to the as-Sawiya/al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya school by stopping them from being frisked.
In the same context, Israeli forces stormed the city of Sa’ir in Hebron earlier today and detained five children, all under 15, after raiding and ransacking their homes.
Israeli troops arrest Palestinian child on his way to school in Nablus
Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian child on his way to school on Sunday in the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the West Bank, local sources said.
The head of the village council of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya said Israeli forces detained Husam Moayyad Oweiss, a seventh-grade student of the as-Sawiya/al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya school, and sent him to an unknown destination.
Its family and school officials tried to convince the troops to release the child, but they refused.
Israeli soldiers kidnap a child near Nablus
Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian child on Sunday as he walked to school in the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Yacoub Oweiss, the head of al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya’s village council, stated that the soldiers kidnapped Husam Moayyad Oweiss and took them to an unknown destination.
He added that the kidnapped child is a seventh grade student of the as-Sawiya/al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya school.
The family and the school tried to convince the soldiers to release the child, but they refused.

Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinian children in the early hours of Sunday during attacks on the city of Sa’ir in Hebron, in the south of the occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces stormed the town of Sa’ir and detained five children, all under 15, after raiding and ransacking their homes.
The five are: Rashad Jaradat (14), Mousa Jaradat (14), Hesham Jaradat (14), Mohammad Khaled Jaradat (15) and Murad Mutawir (15).
Israeli troops invade Palestinian homes almost daily, almost daily in the occupied West Bank, detaining Palestinians and searching their homes.
Israeli army kidnaps five Palestinian children near Hebron
Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinian children from their homes at dawn on Sunday in the town of Sa’ir, east of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the city before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes and kidnapped the five children.
They added that the children have been identified as Hisham Na’im Jaradat, 14, Rashad Ibrahim Jaradat, 14, Mousa Adham Jaradat, 14, Mohammad Khaled Jaradat, 15, and Morad Shehada al-Mitwer, 15.
Soldiers kidnap a Palestinian in Tubas
Israeli soldiers kidnapped a Palestinian man on Sunday in the ar-Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas, in the northeast of the West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has confirmed that the soldiers kidnapped Bassam Ahmad Bani Odah, 41, and took them to an unknown destination.
Kamal Bani Odah, the head of the Public Prosecution Service’s Tubas office, said the soldiers kidnapped the man after he stormed and ransacked his tent.
The area is inhabited by Palestinian herders and farmers and is subject to frequent Israeli violations.
Israeli soldiers kidnap two Palestinians in Bethlehem
Israeli soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians at dawn on Sunday from Bethlehem Governorate, south of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Several Israeli army jeeps raided the town of Janata, south of Bethlehem, before entering and searching homes and kidnapping a young man identified as Sa’id Mohammad al-‘Arouj, 19.
The soldiers also kidnapped Anas Ismael Nawawra, 31, after stopping him at the “Container” military roadblock, northeast of Bethlehem.
Israeli army kidnaps two young Palestinian men in Jerusalem
Israeli soldiers abducted two young Palestinian men in occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank on Saturday night.
Eyewitnesses said the soldiers stopped and interrogated two young men near Bab al-Asbat, kidnapping them before being transferred to an interrogation center.
The two young men have been identified as Mohammad Hzeina, 21, and Mohammad Abu Sneina.
In related news, the soldiers kidnapped three teenage boys from the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
