GAZA, PALESTINOW.COM — Three years ago, July 28th 2014, the First day of Eid al-Fitr, the 22nd day of the Israeli war on Gaza, which extended for 51 day, the Israeli occupation killed ten Palestinian children in Al Shatee refugee camp west of Gaza city while they were celebrating the Eid in the street near their homes.
After 22 days of the Israeli offensive on Gaza, nearly 1085 Palestinian innocent citizens were killed and more than 6470 others were injured by Israeli bombing which targeted all forms of life in Gaza.

In the evening of the same day, and as part of series of its heroic operations against the Israeli terrorism and crimes against children and women in Gaza, Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters managed to infiltrate in Nahal Oz Israeli military base east of Gaza city and killed the Israeli soldiers there.
“It is our promise to our people that their blood will not be wasted,” the brigades said in a statement, referring to the deaths of more than 1,080 Palestinians in a massive Israeli assault on the first three weeks of the 2014 Israeli offensive.
The Brigades said that nine of the Qassam fighters had managed to infiltrate “behind enemy lines”, targeted an Israeli military tower in Nahal Oz, near the border fence with the Gaza Strip and killed the Israeli soldiers in that base.

In the evening hours, and after a speech for Muhammad Al-Daif, General Commander of Al-Qassam Brigades, the brigades aired a video showing Qassam fighters raiding the base and beating Israeli soldiers with their rifles.
“We have opted to confront and kill the enemy’s armed troops and its elite soldiers rather than assault civilians in the neighboring villages. This is despite the fact that the criminal enemy has been shedding the blood of civilians, perpetrating massacres and razing entire neighborhoods to the ground levelling houses on top of the heads of their inhabitants,” Al-Daif said.
