Prisoner Usama Shahin, who was abducted by Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces and has been held captive in the jails of the PA preventive apparatus for 4 days, has been transferred Princess Alia Governmental Hospital in al-Khalil due to torture.
Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies quoted his family as saying that their son’s health condition has badly deteriorated because of torture in light of his going on an open hunger strike as he is refraining from taking both food and water.
Detainee Shahin was also imprisoned in Israeli jails. The PA security forces deliberately arrest ex-detainees in order to deter them from carrying out or getting involved in any anti-occupation attacks.
