The Palestinian injured prisoner Raed Salhi, from Duheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem, is still held in intensive care in Israel’s Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital as he suffers from a very difficult health condition, rights sources revealed on Saturday.
Following his visit to the hospital, lawyer of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said that Salhi is still suffering from serious injuries in his abdomen and thigh.
He also pointed out that the prisoner Abdul Aziz Arafa suffers from a broken leg bone.
However, he is now in stable condition, he said.
Salhi and Arafa were arrested last Tuesday after being injured by Israeli gunfire. Their remand was extended in a court hearing held without their presence.
