25-year-old Palestinian ex-prisoner Haneyya Nasser joined a sit-in tent in set up in Ramallah to protest the suspension of ex-prisoners’ salaries by the Palestinian Authority (PA), run by Mahmoud Abbas.
Nasser, a native of Deir Qidis town in Ramallah, said the PA froze her bank account without prior notice.
Nasser had served two years and a half in Israeli jails before she was released in Wafa al-Ahrar prisoner swap deal.
The PA ruled for cutting the salaries of 277 Palestinian ex-prisoners released in Wafa al-Ahrar accord.
A sit-in tent has been pitched in Ramallah for 12 days running in response to the move.
